Okay so, thanks to the TV Guide article, there has been a lot of speculation about Oliver & Felicity possibly not reuniting by the end of the season.

People have already made good, solid, evidence-backed arguments for why this doesn’t make sense at all and is likely just misdirection from Wendy.

But here is my crack-theory reason to why I honestly can’t see them still being apart by the end of 4×23:

In a season where Olicity toured the world together, moved in together, and got engaged to one another….we still haven’t gotten a love scene.

WAIT! Hold on. I know what you’re going to say.

“But what about 4×01? Or 4×06?“

Well, simply put, those don’t count. They were not love scenes. They were simply scenes that implied that a love scene took place off screen–which, in my opinion, is complete crap. They do not compare to 3×20 in any way, shape, or form. To put it in Seinfeld terms, Season 4 has yadda yadda’d over the best part!

4×01 and 4×06 both yadda yadda’d over the best part (and 4×01 had the nerve to do this TWICE!) Which is why we are DUE a proper love scene in S4.

So that’s my cracked out, not at all evidence based reason not to worry too much about the TV Guide article.
